Hi there again! Myself haven't been on here that often, missed out on quite a bit. I've recently started playing pc games again and have spent more time on that than with Anime. Still love my Anime though! Only wish we had it more available in South Africa.

f

Ello! How are things in Germany?

f

Hi there! Long time no chat. How are you? What's been happening around here?

f

Hi there, long time no chat. Been hectic this side, working and travelling a bit.

Douzo - been hectic at work. Still into my anime but have recently revived my interest in pc games again so that's been keeping me busy. Might be going to Angola again soon.

Hi there!
South Africa is not really the kinda country other nations fuss about, so I guess for foreigners not really related to us South Africa is a bit of an unknown. When I say related, take Australia and England for instance. We use to be an English colony and we have always competed against both England and Australia (incl. New Zealand) in various sports. Many of our citizens still have their English roots and citizenship. When Rhodesia fell and became Zimbabwe, many English-Rhodesians either fled to England or South Africa.

As for the US, well, its obvious the whole world knows about the US, but even then, we only know what we see on tv and in the movies. How much of that is genuine, reflects the true citizens, I'm sure there is still a lot we don't truly know about the USA. A friend of mine was in Washington State, Oklahoma and NY, visting Washington DC as well, and told me that the people were so different as to what he was expecting. They were open and friendly and accommodating. Some South Africans think that US citizens are obnocious and oblivious to the rest of the world, same as what they think the English are snobs and the Aussies are uptight criminals, but that is a wrong perception held by only a few.

For me, it is a case of you can not judge a single person by the actions of a government unless that single person is at the head of that government.

f

Natuurlik verstaan ek daai sin van jou!

Afrikaans / English?

Until I know I'll keep things as they are.

Thanks for dropping your thoughts on my thread earlier. It's rather difficult to say what you truly feel without offending not only Minitokyo but the other members here as well. I'm not a fan of our past, what happened wrong and shouldn't have happened, but it did and it shaped us into the ones we are today. Unfortunately it has als warped the minds of others who have decided their best way of dealing with the past is to reverse it on other innocents. I mean, did I ok Apartheid? Hell no, a few blokes many years before I was born did, but now we have to suffer for their stupid mistakes. Ah well.

I'm from PE. Grew up in JHB and worked at the SABC for a few years, then joined my father's company in Bloem and subsequently moved to PE 2 years ago. I do work in Western, Central & North Africa quite a bit, as well as Asia and Europe.

Its actually so great and amazing to see that we both share an interest in many things. I too am interested in languages, the world, geography of nations, history, etymology, ANIME (naturally), and then of course Japan and everything about it. I'm currently studying a bit of Kanji along with the basics of the Japanese language.

Any way. Twas lekker to chat with you, and I'l keep and eye out for you next msg. Cheers bru!

f

Hi there! Saw you in my guestbook the other day, but no message. How you doing?

f

thanx, saw the post. Still dunno what happened though....

f

Hi there,

Did you say that there already was such a topic about Nekio?

f

Of course that is SO unfair! It would seem that you guys get to see far more Anime and on a much more frequent rate than we do - here it is a case of near non-existance, apart from the normal kiddies stuff like Beyblade, Pokemon, Dragonball Z etc.

f

Hey there you!
Thanks for the guestbook drop ... glad to be considered as your friend.
I'll be checking more often from now on.
So what's happening in your life that's interesting?

f

Hi there mate!
A friend of mine bought a PSP and we've been playing Tiger Woods PGA 2006 on it - I'm hooked! Mind made up! Am so definately buying myself a PSP, no question!

Where are you at the moment?

What you mean "hostile" people - folks giving u hassles here? I'll sort 'em out quick-quick!

Talk to you soon my friend!
